The sky is really the limit when it comes to modifying the BigCommerce’s checkout.js, BUT with great power comes great responsibility. Modifying the checkout comes with some additional risk. If a custom integration changes unexpectedly, or something else tied to your customizations fails your whole checkout could break. You want to make sure whoever builds your custom checkout accounts for these things, and makes you aware of the risks.
